Wednesday's Wanderings #2 - Key West Rooster

The first of Wednesday's Wanderings begins with the noisy and ever present rooster in Key West.  Roosters are everywhere and they just don't crow in the morning.
They crow all day long.
And there is a law that you can do them no harm!

Some people love them. Some people do not.

So here's my block of the week, celebrating the Key West rooster.

  1. Love your rooster and the colors you used for him.
How noisy are they? Can you hear them where you live?

  2. That block is so cute!!!
I'm actually one of those people that love to hear a rooster crow. Which I guess is a good thing, since I raise bantam Silkies and have just added large Black Copper Marans to the farm.

  3. He's soooo cute and proud!! And I can just hear the cock-a-doodles from here! I miss hearing our roosters - we had one that said "don't fooooorget about meeeeeeeee!" when he crowed, and I miss him, even after all these years (that was about 15 years ago!). Your colors are sooooo Key West & tropical, just love it!

  4. I love the colorful rooster you made. Kind of a cross between a cocky rooster and a proud peacock!
