Watercolor by App

I found this amazingly fun app for my iPad, called Waterlogue. I am obsessed and have had so much fun playing with it. I've even used it to print on fabric to make a gift. It costs a few dollars, but it is oh so worth it. After you get the App, choose a photo and it does its thing. Here are a bunch of photos and my "watercolor paintings"!

Fascinating, isn't it?

  1. I have that app too but haven't used it as much as I could. I love Bailey's photo and the bicycle photo. I think I'll go play with my app now. Like you said, well worth it!

  2. Cheryl, I just love technology. I would be interested in seeing the results of what you printed on fabric. Are you "making your own" blank or using pre-made commercial fabric sheets for the printer. I've done both and am curious which you prefer. I found a pixalating (?) program on a free website that turns photo's into Mosaics. I have had fun playing with the computer end of it, but will wait for the retreat in May for the "quilting end" of mosiacs. http://vam.demo.lemberg.co.uk/interactive/ppm/landing

  5. So cool! I think I pinned it a while back but never played with it. That might have to change!

  6. That really does a nice job, I never achieve that in photoshop.
It is a nice way to do photos and make them into artwork.
