I thought it would never come. It felt like a dream when it was happening. Last August I flew out to Colorado for the taping. That was 9 months ago. Today on The Daily Blog, there's a slide show preview of my visit with Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims on the set of The Quilt Show. It is so amazingly professional. You can see it here:
The Quilt Show and Me! Pinch me, I must be dreaming. Is that really me?
And if you haven't seen enough, check this out on

Stay tuned for the entire episode.
Congratulations! Alex is such a nice person I'm sure she made you feel comfortable on the set...now I have to go check The Daily Blog! (I'm sure you did great!)
ReplyDeleteYay Cheryl, Can't wait to see the whole show. The trailer is such a tease. Congrats!

Hey Cheryl! I just watched the quilt show episode and you really did a great job. Seemed relaxed and professional--really taught your techniques well. My most favorite part, though, was at the end when you shared about your love of biking! As a 50-something who has become active in the past 5 years, I just loved it. I loved that you shared about your conflict in spending time quilting vs. spending time biking. I find that this is a conflict for me sometimes too. Anyway, I am a blogger, and I was going to write about you on my blog, so came over here to check you out, and how about that, you blog too! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI just watched the show and it was really fun. I was in the audience that day and enjoyed it there as well.
ReplyDeleteGood job.
