Oy! Don't Do This

I did something pretty stupid.

I need to buy a new cutting mat.

 

I was pressing a quilt with a hot iron. 

 It didn't even dawn on me that the mat was underneath.   

 

It cannot be flattened : (

Don't try  this at home.
