You Have To Be In It To Win It!

The BLOG HOP PARTY begins on Saturday, Dec 10th. It is going to be huge with lots of give-aways.   I am posting this today to make sure that my blog makes the cut and is included in the tour.

Welcome to everyone that is visiting my blog for the first time as you participate in the  biggest Blog Hop Give-away that I can remember.  My blog focuses on quilting.  I share techniques, inspiration and lots of photos.  My work is eclectic and ranges from traditional to pictorial to modern to artsy.  It runs the gamut. I love sharing what I have learned over the years.  As I am writing this you have the opportunity to win something from over 250 blogs.  That is huge.

To celebrate the opening of my etsy shop, Sewing With Silk, I will be giving away a trio of silk dupioni fat quarters.  The trio includes my tips for working with silk as well as fusible stabilizer to "tame" the silk.

To be eligible to win the silk  give away you must:
1.  Become a Follower or be a Follower
2.  Visit my etsy shop and choose your favorite dupioni trio colorway
3.  Leave a comment, making sure you include your trio color choice and an e-mail address where I can contact you if you win.

A random winner will be chosen on Saturday, Dec 17th.

    I'm already a follower. I have never sewn with silk. It's great you are including tips for sewing with it, just incase I win. hehe. All the silks are so Beautiful. I can't choose between the Sunset or the Lakehouse Trios.

    I love the different colors that are available.
    I think my favorite is the Lakeside Hues. It was close though, the Hydrangea Hues are gorgeous too.

    I love silk, but only have a little of it. I can't wait to explore your blog and watch for new postings. I like the gold rust collection shown above. The only thing that would make it better is a dark brownish green for flower stems and leaves. I love flowers and they would come alive in silk.

    I've been pondering some silk projects so have become a follower. I like the hydrangea, but if I were picking at a store, I would buy lime from the woodland hues to go with the purples. (I'm this way when I order at the restaurant as well.)

    Duponi silk, just remembered that I kept silk worms when a child..feed them mulberry leaves..I wondered at the bewildering process of silk production then and now look at how beautiful these fabrics truly are. Are they equally lovely to handle and use..I have never quilted with them but would love the opportunity to use your Trio of Fat Quarters, Lakeside Hues. I think that they would make great 'water' in landscape applique.
