Breaking News!

You never know who you are going to bump into when you leave your house. (My mother used  to tell me to always wear clean underwear, just in case.) I was so lucky to see Alex Anderson of The Quilt Show at the Lancaster Quilt Show  a couple of weeks ago.  I was pretty surprised that she remembered me from when I taped the show with her and Ricky Tims back in 2011. She wanted to know what was going on in my quilting life.  This led to our video call that was just posted on The Quilt Show's blog and you can see it here: http://www.thequiltshow.com/os/blog.php/blog_id/5550
as well as see my episode about my Mexican tile quilts and Judaica textiles for free!

  1. omg Cheryl - I don't know what's more cool - that you got to sit and chat with Alex showing what you've been doing - then they post for the whole world to share - orrrrrr seeing and hearing you so I can put a face with a name orrrrrrrr that whole process! Its amazing how technology really connects us all. Great video - Congrats! thanks so much for sharing!

  3. I loved seeing you and Alex chat about the process you use for those little quilts. And for now on it's crowns for me. I'll never call them prairie points again LOL!
